The Chanhen Group has consistently fulfilled its social obligations since its establishment. On the one hand, the company actively manages its businesses, pays taxes, addresses employment issues, and promotes economic growth. On the other hand, it is committed to green development, energy conservation, and safe and environmental-friendly production. Conversely, the company offers support and donates to the community as a way of giving back and assisting others. By December 31, 2023, the total sum donated amounted to approximately 33.43 million RMB.
In an era when everyone is striving for efficiency and generating income, Chanhen has embarked on a journey to explore green environmental protection, approaching it with utmost respect for nature, society and mankind.
Chanhen is committed to advancing the civilization and progress of the chemical industry, leveraging technological means to eliminate pollution from the phosphorus business. Chanhen had 105 approved patents by the end of 2023, with many of its scientific research achievements positioned at the forefront of the sector.
On May 12, 2008, a major earthquake struck Sichuan, severely impacting Shifang, the location of the Group Company. In the face of this disaster, Chanhen employees displayed remarkable courage. Employees from every functional department hurried to the production site at 3 p.m. that day in order to assess the tragedy and start the production self-rescue process right away.
The company mobilized its employees to engage in post-earthquake rescue efforts. It established resettlement sites within the company premises to offer safe shelter and food for the victims. The company planned spiritual counseling to help alleviate the psychological impact of the earthquake. On the first Children’s Day after the earthquake, Chanhen organized a Children’s Day party to bring joy to the children affected by the disaster. In 2010, Sichuan Chanhen Chemical Co., Ltd. completed the post disaster reconstruction work.
In late January 2020, COVID-19 swept across the country. Chanhen employees responded promptly, implementing strict epidemic control measures and actively promoting the safe resumption of work. Additionally, the company donated 1 million RMB to Shifang and Fuquan Municipal Governments to fight the epidemic.
Since its establishment, Chanhen Group has donated about 2.67 million RMB for external education in the form of direct funding, awards, grants or collaborative educational programs.
Chanhen has a long-standing tradition of supporting students, dating back to 1999. In the early stages of Chanhen’s establishment, Li Guangming funded over 10 financially disadvantaged students at Shifang Primary School.
Since 2007, the company has implemented the Measures for the Administration of Student Aid, providing grants annually to the children of employees who have been admitted to university. This initiative aims to encourage students to study diligently, contribute to the society in the future and share great love.
In addition to providing internal student aid, Chanhen continues its commitment to supporting financially disadvantaged students admitted to universities in Fuquan and Shifang.
Since 2015, Chanhen has signed “university-enterprise cooperation” agreements with Guizhou Institute of Technology, Sichuan Agricultural University, Gansu Agricultural University, Sichuan University of Science & Engineering and other universities. These agreements aim to establish the “Chanhen Scholarship and Grants” within the universities, fostering the development of professional talents.
The altruistic spirit is the cornerstone of Chanhen’s culture, extending to customers, employees and the public.
